Picture Perfect

The girls looked so pretty after church in their new outfits that our good friends, Daniel and Amanda Dick got for them...we had to take some pictures. But that top one turned out so cool...I don't know why but both Jonathan and I think the girls look like babies back in the 17th century for some reason. You know those old pictures you see of babies in the sepia color? And I am so sad cause if we had taken this picture with our good camara we could have changed it to sepia to see...but we still can't find our charger...so these are with our video camara. Anyway, the pictures show my hair cut that I got quiet a while ago too. I love getting hair cuts, the change is so fun. Brianna looks like a little doll standing on my lap, dosn't she?

Lot's of New Things...

Elayna with her four teeth, and the cutest smile! Playing with Daddy. Brianna, has four as well and her fifth tooth has broken through.

Elayna is Crawling!!!! YEA! I know it will be more work once they start to move about more, but it is so exciting and cute to see her crawl. This is the best picture we could get of it. Brianna is not yet, she rocks on her hands and knees, so she will get there pretty soon.

Sweet little smile from Brianna, she loves eating my string of my comfy pants!

The girls with their Dad. Oh do they love playing with him! This face of Elayna she makes all the time. We think she started to do it cause we would look like this to here when we were shocked or suprised...but now she does it to us all the time and it is sooo cute! The girls seem to be getting bigger every day. I can't believe in less than a month they will be one! We are so excited...I can't believe we'll have 2 one year old's! I'll probably say that every year. But it is just amazing how fast they grow up. I know all I put up is pictures of the girls...but they are my life and all I do. Plus they make the prettiest pictures! :)

Spring Time!

I feel like I have been hybernating for 4 months. I need spring! There is nothing like it...the cool crisp air, the warm sun, the sound of birds shirping, the smell of new grass begining to grow. And me being able to get out of this house! Unlike many of you I have been stuck in this house with no car, for a quick get away to save my sanity. It's been rough. But with the begining of spring comes hope of walks with the stroller, and once the girls start to walk...which won't be for a while...we can be more moblie. I am so not a winter girl, I wish Edmonton would hurry up and get warm...it is slowy coming. The girls are getting over a bad cold, another sharp reminder of winter and why I despise it...getting sick all the time. But they are well, and close to crawling. They rock back and forth on their hands and knees. Elayna really seems to be growing up fast, she is looking more like a toddler than a baby. Brianna is still my little baby girl. She always seems to be the one that gets the worst of the sickness. Jonathan has a few more classes left of this semester, and one more class in the spring and then....he's done!!! Hurray, I can not wait! I am so excited because, I can start taking a dance class again, which will start in May...oh how I have missed danceing! Can't wait! And we hope to put the girls in spring swimming classes too. Getting excited for General Conference, and than Easter. So much to look forward too, but I still want to enjoy the here and now. Here are a few more spring pictures for you all to enjoy! Happy Spring!

Funny Faces

I love these pictures. They are kinda old, but we can't find our camara charger so we can't take any more pictures, which is kida sad cause we missed the family day, where we took the girls swimming for the first time in the most adorable bathing suits, and they just loved it! They were in the pool for 2 hours. It was so much fun! Anyway, so I just have some old pictures here that I have wanted to put up. Brianna has always made this crazy cute face (she is on the top) I think it was because she was feeling her new teeth she got on the bottom. They now have 2 top teeth that I need to try and take a picture of them when we find our charger. Jonathan and I laugh and cry everyday because of them and how much joy they are to us, there is just not enough pictures I can take, I really go crazy trying to capture all the moments. But thank goodness I can.

How Jonathan Spoiled Me

So at Christmas Jonathan gave me a card that said that one of the presents he had for me was too big to fit in the car. When I got home there was a ribbon on our bedroom door and I walked in to find this! Jonathan and I, since we've been married have been sleeping on my parents mattress they got when they were first married like 30 some years ago...and we never had a frame for it. We slept on the box spring on the floor and then 2 mattress stacked up. Lovely. As well we had my sweet little dresser that was white with pink handles to complement our rustic bed! Well I have always wanted a headboard and this type of plateform frame...but we have not had the money to do so. Well anyway...again I came home to this thinking he had went out and bought it for me...but to make it so much better, Jonathan made all this! He is really good a building things and while the girls and I were down in Calgary for a week before he came down to join us for Christmas, he was up here working hard every night making the bed and painting it, and for the dresser he just repainted it and put new handles on it. He even got all the accesories for the room! Could there be any sweeter of a man! All in all it cost way less than anything we could buy, and it truly was so special to me to have my husband to something so thoughtful and so to my likeing. What was so awesome is he totally nailed it, I have never told him exactly what I have wanted only a concept...and he truly got it perfect! I now just can't wait to finish the room off with some pictures. What a great present!
